STATE of TENNESSEE, JEFFERSON COUNTY

KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS, That We,
William TRAVIS and James TRAVIS
Are held and firmly bound unto the State of Tennessee, in the sum of Twelve
Hundred and Fifty Dollars, to be void on condition that there be no lawful
cause to prevent a Marriage from being solemnized in the County of JEFFERSON 
between William TRAVIS and  Margaret SNYDER

    WITNESS our hands and seals, this 25th day of June, 1851

    To any regular Minister of the Gospel having the care of souls, or any 
Judge or Justice of the Peace for said County:..........Greeting:

I, James FULLER, Clerk of the County Court for the County of JEFFERSON, 
aforesaid, by virtue of the power in me vested by law, DO LICENSE YOU, OR 
EITHER OF YOU, to celebrate the Rites of Matrimony between WILLIAM TRAVIS 
and MARGARET SNYDER by uniting them together as HUSBAND AND WIFE.

    Given at Office, in Dandridge the 25th day of June 1851, and of 
American Independence the 75th.
