All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/tn/tnfiles.htm ************************************************ File contributed for use in USGenWeb Archives by: Dona Burnett dona@brick.net July 25, 2006, 2:26 pm Source: Microfilm Roll#35 Jefferson Co., Tennessee Probate Records (county Or Chancery Court) Wills Vol 1-2 Apr 1792-dec 1826 Written: February 9, 1793 pg 12 Andrew Chamberlain The last will and testament of Andrew Chamberlain how departed this life the 4th day of February 1793 is as follows, his desiar was that after his brother Jeremiah Chamberlain had goten his part of the land on Ritchland his owen part that remains he desired that it should be equally divided in six parts agreeable to quantity and quality betwixt Jeremiah, JOhn, Mary, Margret, Elisa- beth and Jenet, and it was his desire that his father Nenian Chamberlain should have his Horse, only he desired that Anny and Jenet Chamberlain daughters of John Chamberlain should each of them have a Cow and Calf and that Nenian Chamberlain son of John Chamberlain should have a yearling Colt, and a Cow and Calf to each of Jeremiah Chamberlains daughters, Mary & Jenet and it was his desire that Oien Brimit should have ten pounds, and five pounds to Levi Taylor if he stayed, and if Levi Taylot don't stay, then he desires that Oin Brimit should git a fifteen pound [horse?]. And it was his desire that that Bond he had on James Mebery should be divided equally betwixt Jeremiah, Mary, Margaret Elisabeth and Jenet and he desires that his two brothers Jeremiah & John Chamberlain should have his cloathing equally divided betwixt them and that cloth that I sent for is to be sold and divided betwixt my four sisters this 9th day of February 1793 Test Jenet Eaton x her mark N.
