Black and Gunsmith tools. 8 Head of Horses 8 head of meat Cattle.  The number 

of Hoggs not known 4 Feather Beds and furniture. 3 Bedsteads. 1 Dresser 

Cupboard and furniture. 1 Round table. 2 Chests 5 Iron castings 5 Wooden 

Vessels 4 Chears 1 Womans Saddle 3 Axes 2 Cain Hoes 1 Can and three Bottles. 1 

Pair of Cotton cards. 1 pair of Woolstills.  2 Spining wheels 2 Beehives 71

Additional Comments:
A zerox copy of the original record, found in Will Book 1, pp. 15-16, in 

Jefferson Co., Tn., was sent to me by the County Clerk on 23 Sept. 1985 with 

stamped seal on it. This Jonathan Wood, whose estate inventory is described 

above, was the father of Elizabeth Wood, wife of Isaac Splawn, of Bedford Co., 

Tn. and Daviess Co., Mo.  See Guardianship Records submitted elsewhere by me 

on this site naming the heirs of Jonathan Wood, deceased.
