In 1800, John Arrendell was living in the portion of Carter County that is now Johnson County, TN. --------------------------------------- State of Tennessee, Carter County Where as this day came John Arendel before me one of the Justices of the Peace of Said County and made oath that Joseph Wilson that he did threaten him and is afraid that he will do him some provate agony or some bodily hurts. This is therefore to command youin the Name of the State to take the body of the said Joseph Wilson and bring him before me or some other Justice of Said Countyto be dwelth with according to law.
