JOHNSON COUNTY, TN - OBITUARIES - Beulah Mae Courtner, 15 Jun 2005 --------------¤¤¤¤¤¤-------------- Beulah Mae Courtner, 85, Sherwood Drive, Johnson City, died Wednesday, June 15, 2005, at North Side Hospital. Miss Courtner was a native of Johnson County and a daughter of the late George William and Lillie Stout Courtner. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, James Billy Courtner. Miss Courtner had lived in Johnson City most of her life and was a 1941 graduate of Science Hill High School. She was a retired employee of Burlington Industries after 43 years of service and a member of the Tacoma Church of God, Johnson City. Survivors include two aunts, Kathryn Umbarger, Johnson City, and Zola Burch, Denton, Texas. Several cousins also survive. Funeral services for Miss Courtner will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday, June 19, at Memorial Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Mark Foreman officiating. Interment will follow at Happy Valley Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 p.m. Sunday at the funeral chapel.
