Mary L. Greenwell 





    Mary Lou Greenwell, 75, of Romeoville, Ill., died Thursday, December 6, 

2007, in Joliet, Ill. 





    A native of Butler, Tenn., she was the daughter of the late Fawn and 

Sallie Cable Bunton. 





    Mrs. Greenwell was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith. 





    In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, 

Bobby Ray Greenwell, two brothers and two sisters. 





    Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Kyle and Margarie Greenwell; 

a daughter, Robin Greenwell; grandchildren, Kyle David Greenwell Jr. and his 

wife Christina and Debra Lynn Pfeifer and her husband Louis; great-

grandchildren, Louis Jr. and Kaitlynn Pfeifer and Taylor "Taterbug," Brianna 

and Victoria Greenwell; four brothers and three sisters-in-law, James W. 

Cable, Delmas and Lennis Bunton, George and Velma Bunton and J.R. and Carolyn 

Bunton; and a sister and brother-in-law, Lorean and Billy Pearson. Several 

nieces and nephews also survive. 





    The funeral service for Mrs. Greenwell will be conducted at 2 p.m.. 

Friday, December 14, at Meadowview Baptist Church with Rev. Richard Jones 

officiating. Interment will follow the funeral service in the Bunton Town 

Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Delmas Bunton, Darren Bunton, Louis 

Pfeifer, Kyle Greenwell Jr., Timothy Pearson and Louis Pfeifer Jr. The family 

will receive friends at Hathaway-Percy Funeral Home on Thursday, December 13, 

from 6 to 8 p.m., or at the residence of her sister, Lorean Pearson, 156 

Ranger Drive, Elizabethton, at other times. Online condolences may be sent to

    Arrangements for the Greenwell family have been entrusted to Hathaway-

Percy Funeral Home.
