Horne Addie Dunn Horne, 86, of Mountain City, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 18, 2005, at Johnson County Health Center. Addie was a lifelong resident of Johnson County and a daughter of the late Frank and Bessie Shelton Dotson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four sisters, Hattie Shelton, Hettie Shelton, Betty Shelton and Myrtle Shelton Snyder; three brothers, Glen, Robert and Paul Shelton; and two grandsons, Larry "Big L" Dunn and Matthew Dunn. Survivors include her husband of 41 years, Otis Horne; two sons and a daughter-in-law, William Kenneth Dunn and Robert Larry and Darlene Dunn, all of Mountain City; a sister, Ann Shoun; a brother and sister-in-law, John and Shirley Shelton, Mountain City; a sister-in-law, Ruby Shelton, Johnson City; a brother-in-law, Hardin Snyder, Mountain City; five grandchildren, Robert B. Dunn, Angela Dunn Norris and her husband John, Jennifer Dunn Lunceford and her husband Cliff, Michael L. Dunn, all of Mountain City, and Doug Price, Erwin; and seven great-grandchildren, Brittany and Austin Dunn, Tristin and Ian Norris and Elosha, Christopher and Devin Lunceford. Several nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7:45 p.m. Tuesday, December 21, at Mountain City Funeral Home with the service to follow at 8 p.m. with Rev. Frank Woods and Rev. Norm Reece officiating. The committal service and interment will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 22, at Sunset Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be Robert Bruce Dunn, Mark Slemp, Harvey Poore, Doug Taylor, Dan Taylor and Doug Price. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Johnson County Rescue Squad, 203 Vandilla Street, Mountain City, TN 37683. Condolences may be made online at wwww.mountaincityfuneralhome.com.
