Johnson County News, Thursday, Sept. 19, 1946  

NAT T. JENKINS, 67, a resident of near Laurel Bloomery, died at his home this 

afternoon at 1:30 following an illness of three weeks. 

Survivors include the widow and the following children: Jess Jenkins, Tom 

Jenkins, George Jenkins, all of Shady Valley; Roy Jenkins, Venia Jenkins, Mrs. 

Charles WINTERS, Louise Jenkins, and Robert Jenkins, Mountain City; Wesley 

Jenkins and Mrs. Jack DYSON, Damascus; a brother, R. L. Jenkins, Mountain City 

and a sister, Mrs. Will OWENS, Damascus. 

Funeral sercives will be conducted at the residence Sunday afternoon at 2 with 

burial following in the family cemetery near the home.
