JOHNSON COUNTY, TN - OBITUARIES - Bertha S. Lewis, 20 Jun 2004 ----¤¤¤---- Bertha S. Lewis Bertha S. Lewis, 90, of Johnson City, died Sunday, June 20, 2004, at Appalachian Christian Village, Johnson City, following a brief illness. Mrs. Lewis was a native of Johnson County and the daughter of the late John N. and Susan Elliott Osborne. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Johnny Stout, and her second husband, Edward Lewis, after 11 years of marriage, and by two brothers and three sisters. Mrs. Lewis was a member of Little Doe Baptist Church and was a homemaker. Survivors include several nieces, nephews and cousins. The funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 23, in the Riverside Chapel of Tetrick Funeral Home with Rev. Harold McNabb and Rev. Douglas Ranshaw officiating. Music will be under the direction of Rev. Harold McNabb. Interment will follow the funeral service at Happy Valley Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be selected from family and friends.
