JOHNSON COUNTY, TN - OBITUARIES - Jane R. Mains, 29 Nov 2002 ----¤¤¤---- Bristol Herald Courier Sunday, December 1, 2002 Jane R. Mains PLEASANT GARDEN, N.C. -- Jane R. Mains, 72, of Blue Ridge Road, formerly of Lumpkin Branch Road, Mountain City, went to be with the Lord Friday, Nov. 29, 2002, at Asheboro Health and Rehabilitation Center in Asheboro, N.C. She was a native of Johnson County and was a daughter of the late Hugh and Winnie Phillips Dunn. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles David Mains, who died in 1979, and also by four brothers, John Dunn, Ernest Dunn, Dayton Dunn and Wiley Dunn; one sister, Goldie Forrester; one half-sister, Nelle White; three half-brothers, Uylessis Mains, Walt Mains and Author Mains. She was a former employee of Burlington Industries and a member of Central Baptist Church. Survivors include three daughters, Nancy Brown and husband, Jerry, Alice Robinson and husband, Mike, and Lisa Hackney and husband, Jack, all of Mountain City; one son, David and wife, Sandy, of Pleasant Garden; one sister, Ella Rose Hamm of Knottingham, Pa.; one brother, Barton Dunn of Mountain City; special friends, all of her church and Sunday school friends; 14 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday from the Central Baptist Church with Rev. Rick Thomason to officiate. Music will be under the direction of the church choir. Pallbearers are Dustin Maynard, Josh Maynard, Michael Robinson, Brandon Robinson, Wes Robinson, Travis Brown, Jermey Brown, Garner Icenhour and Lawrence Watkins. Honorary pallbearers are Gary Perkins, Mike Robinson, Jack Hackney and Jerry Brown. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 7 till 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home chapel.
