She was born in Ashe County, N.C., May 1, 1915, a daughter of the late Oren and Laura Shaw Greer, has made her home in the Bristol area most of her life and was a member of the former Lippencott Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Mosier was the widow of Robert "Bob" Mosier and was preceded in death by her daughter and son-in-law, Shelby and James Rutherford. Survivors include: daughter, Betty Mosier; granddaughter, Amy Trivett and husband Randy; great-grandson, Isaac Lee Trivett; step-grandchildren, Michael Rutherford and wife Robin, Jennifer Sluder and husband Derwin and Rebecca Cilley and friend Donald Wassom; 10 step-great-grandchildren; sisters, Ardna Shaw and Maude Crowder; and brothers, Ralph Greer and Paul Greer. Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday at 6 p.m. in the Weaver Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Larry Stallard officiating. Committal services will be held on Friday at 1 p.m. at Acrefield Cemetery in Laurel Bloomery, Tenn., with Rev. R.J. Cullop officiating. Honorary pallbearers will be nephews.
