JOHNSON COUNTY, TN - OBITUARIES - Frank Stout, 31 Mar 2004 --------------¤¤¤¤¤¤-------------- Frank Stout, age 86, Hickory Lane, Morristown, formerly of Elizabethton, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 31, 2004 at his residence after an extended illness. He was a native of Johnson County, and the son of the late Sam and Ethel Garland Stout. He was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister. He was a lifetime member of Lynn Valley Baptist Church where he served as a deacon and a Sunday School teacher for 45 years. He worked as a carpenter for 50 years before retiring. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Mary Lucille Stout, of the home; one daughter, Bonnie Kate Vaughn, and spouse, Mike, Morristown; one son, Billy Frank Stout, and spouse, Mary, Morristown; he is also survived by four sisters, Elsie Bare, of North Carolina; Hazel Branch, Lona Cunningham and Mary Greene, all of Butler; grandchildren, Jeff Vaughn, Douglas Arnold, Jonathan Stout and Tiffany Stout all Morristown, and great grandchildren, Allison, Dylan and Lane Arnold and Ethan Stout. Several nieces and nephews also survive. The funeral service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Saturday, April 3, 2004 at Lynn Valley Baptist Church, Elizabethton, with Rev. Bob Reed and Rev. Dennis Wilson officiating. Music will be under the direction of Bill Greene. Burial will follow the funeral service at Happy Valley Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be Jeff Vaughn, Jonathan Stout, Douglas Arnold, Blaine Branch, Fred Jenkins and Rick Greer. Honorary pallbearers will Dr. Derek Cooze, Dr. Peter Sutherland, Dr. Stephen Kiss, Carson Puckett, Ralph Williams, Bill Greene, Buster Arnold, Walter Everett, Staff of FMC Dialysis Center, Housecall and Adventa Hospice, all of Morristown. The family will receive friends from 1:30 to 3 p.m. at the church prior to the service.
