JOHNSON COUNTY, TN - OBITUARIES - Beatrice T. Watson, 10 Dec 2003 ----¤¤¤---- Beatrice T. Watson, of Bluff City, died Wednesday, December 10, 2003, at North Side Hospital in Johnson City. Mrs. Watson was born in Butler and was a daughter of the late Joe S. and Fronia Tester. She moved to Bluff City in 1952. Mrs. Watson was a member of Bethel View Baptist Church and was retired from Bemberg in Elizabethton. She was the widow of Roy Watson. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Clara Jane and Vernon Saylor, Bluff City; a son and daughter-in-law, Charles and Joyce Watson, Goose Creek, S.C.; a sister, Marie Dugger, Elizabethton; a brother and sister-in-law, James L. and Louise Tester, Johnson City; grandchildren, Veronica Cates and her husband Billy, and Edward V. Saylor and his wife Denise; and two great-grandchildren, Erin Saylor and Chris Cates. Several nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends at Oakley-Cook Funeral Home from 6 until 7:45 p.m. Friday, December 12, with the service to follow at 8 p.m. Rev. John W. Rayburn will officiate. The committal service and interment will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, December 13, in the Heritage Chapel of Memories at Glenwood Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers will be Robert C. Dugger, Carroll Tester, Doyce Cotton, Harvey Jessee, Charles Eads, Carl Durham, Ed Moody, Robert Leonard, David Lindamood, Ralph Cooper, Dr. Burgin Dossett and Dr. Donald Lovelace.
