Between Charles Tindel of the county of Knox and state of Tennessee of the one part and John Brown of the said county and state of the other part.----------- that this said Charles Tindell for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred dollars to him in having paid the receipt whereof grant bargain sell -------and confirm unto the said John Brown a certain tract or parcel of land lying in aforesaid county on the south side of the copper ridge containing fifty acres.
