A Deed of Conveyance Charles Tindell
To John Brown

This indenture made this the fourth day of April in the year of our Lord one 
thousand eight hundred and twenty nine. Between Charles Tindel of the county 
of Knox and state of Tennessee of the one part and John Brown of the said 
county and state of the other part.----------- that this said Charles Tindell 
for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred dollars to him in having 
paid the receipt whereof grant bargain sell -------and confirm unto the said 
John Brown a certain tract or parcel of land lying in aforesaid county on the 
south side of the copper ridge containing fifty acres. Beginning on the Big 
survey line on a whiteoak thence running with Robert Tindells line north 36 
east 80 poles to a spanish oak thence south ----east 100 poles to an postoak 
thence south 36 west 80 poles to a postoak on the Big survey line thence 
north 45 west 100 poles to the beginning with all and singular the woods 
water ----profits commodities heir --------- and appertaining whatsoever to 
said tract of land belonging or in any wise appertaining and the 
------------------any revisions remainder or remainders rents and 
------------and all the estate right----------property claim and demand of 
him the aforesaid Charles Tindell his heirs and assignees forever against the 
lawful -----claim and demand of all and every person or persons whatsoever 
shall and will forever warrant and defend. In testimony whereof I have 
hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal day and date above written signed 
and sealed and delivered in the presence of us Tandy Munday Robert Tindell
