M. Spradlin of the county of Knox State of Tennessee as party of the first part have this day sold and do hereby ------to Geo. Brown of the county of Knox, State Tennessee as party of the second part Trustee and his successors in trust in consideration of One dollar in hand paid and the other considerations herein mentioned the following described property to wit: One Grain Seperator Complete No. 2316 built by Nichols & Shepard Co. Bottle Creek, Mich. With straw stacker belts trucks and all fixtures and appendages with or belonging to the same and said first party hereby warrants the title to the said Trustee and his successors in trust forever. But this sale is made for the following uses and trusts and for no other purpose that is to say the first said party being justly indebted to Nichols & Shepard Co. of Battle Creek, Michigan in the sum of Four Hundred and sixty five dollars with interest according to the term of the certain promisory notes duly executed by said first party and payable to Nichols & Sheperd Co. on order as follows viz; One note dated June 26th 1889 due Oct 1, 1889 for $155 One note dated June 26th 1889 due Oct 1, 1890 for $155 One note dated June 26th 1889 due Oct 1 1891 for $155 And are desirous to secure and make certain the payment of the same now therefore if said party of the first part shall pay said notes at the time of their maturity and such other notes as may be taken in lieu of p-----hereby expressly agreed . But if default is made in the payment of these said notes the said Trustee will take the personal property herein described into immediate possession if he sees fit and sell the same for cash to the highest bidder after giving five days written notice------26th day of June 1889.
