KNOX COUNTY, TN - DEEDS - Benjamin F. Hall to William Brown ----¤¤¤---- This indenture made the 18th day of February 1832 between Benjamin F. Hall of the county of Knox the state of Tennessee on the one part and William Brown of the aforesaid county and state of the other part witnesseth that the said Benjamin F. Hall for and in consideration of the sum of $525 to him in hand paid the receipt thereof is hereby acknowledged hath and by these presents doth grant, bargain, and sell and confirm unto the said William Brown, his heirs and assigns, a certain tract or parcel of land containing 96 acres more or less lying in the county of Knox on both sides of Beaver Dam Creek and on the south side of Clinch River beginning at a hickory Julian Frazier’s corner thence north with his line 25 poles to a white oak on other corner of said Frazier’s thence west 28 poles to a whiteoak on Samuel Frazier’s line thence with ______ line north fifty, east 106 poles to the west side of Beaver Dam Creek below the sawmill-dam thence north 40 west 39 poles to a dead blackoak and pointers thence north 50 east 46 poles to a white oak thence north 62 east 14 poles to a Spanish oak thence south 48 east 34 poles to Frazier’s old line near the Spring Branch thence south 30 east 32 poles to a stake and pointers on the bank aforesaid creek thence south 70 east 19 poles to a walnut and pointers thence south 62 poles to a black oak on the side of a hill thence south 20 east 26 poles to a whiteoak thence south 20 west 16 poles crossing the creek to a white oak thence a direct line to the beginning with all and singular the woods, waters, water courses, profits, commodities, herdsmen’s, and appurtenances whatsoever to the same tract belonging or appertaining and the ________ and __________ and remainders unto and issues thereof with all the estate right, title, interest, property claims and demand of him the said Benjamin F. Hall, his heirs and assigns either in law or equity to have and to hold the aforesaid 96 acres with the appurtenances unto the said William Brown, his heirs and assigns forever against the lawful title claim and demand of all and every person or persons whatsoever shall and will warrant and forever defend by these presents in witnesseth whereof the said Benjamin F.
