These are not battlefield deaths but those that died in custody of US FORCES. It contains an EXCEL Workbook with SIX worksheets within the workbook. Please see the bottom of the first page to find the following five additional sheets. 1. Confederate PRISONERS-Table 1, Prisoner Deaths while in custody - Table 2 2. Confederate PRISONERS by Date of Death - Table 3 3. PRISONER Deaths at Military PRISON and PRISON Hospital - Table 4 4. PRISONERS buried at CITY CEMETERY 5. PRISONERS buried at MIDDLEBROOK 6. PRISONERS buried at REBEL CEMETERY Additional Comments: This is the research of the soldiers who were registered with the Provost and died in the Military Prison in Knoxville between Aug 1863 and March 1864. These are not battlefield deaths, but soldiers who are documented with the US Military Provost and died while imprisoned or awaiting transfer to another imprisonment camp. These men are not listed on the coroners report or listed on any cemetery records in Knoxville as of yet. This is my own personal research from two years ago.
