The Georgia Enterprise March 21, 1889
     The State Senate has adopted a resolution providing for the removal of the 

remains of JOHN SEVIER from Alabama to the National Cemetery at Knoxville. The 

sum of $500 is to be appropriated for the purpose, and an effort will be made 

to erect a monument.
