Obituary appeared in the Tuesday, June 25, 1957 Elizabethton Star 

Knoxville.  John H. Householder died last Wednesday at his home 3805 Thrall 
Road after an extended illness.  A native of Knoxville, he was the husband 
of the former Bonnie Branch of Elizabethton, and was a supervisor of the 
American Sprinkler Corporation.  Survivors are the widow, Mrs. Bonnie Branch 
Householder, one son, Dr. John H. Householder, Jr., one daughter, Mrs. Hollis 
Duncan of Panama City, Florida; his mother, Mrs. John Householder; one brother, 
George Householder of Knoxville.  Funeral services were conducdted at Rose 
Funeral Home, with burial in Lake Hurst Cemetery.
