French Ave., Orange City, FL, died at 1 PM yesterday in Fish Memorial Hospital in DeLand. Born in Tennessee, Mr. Ward was a resident of Orange City for five years. He was a retired locomotive engineer for the Southern Railway. He was a member of the Baptist Church,Burlington Lodge 763, F&AM, Knoxville, TN, and Railroad Fireman 444, Knoxville, TN. Survivors include his wife, Loma E.,Orange City; a son, Perry,DeLand; a sister, Mrs. M.L. Stephens, Knoxville; four brothers, D.N., Knoxville; Earl Clinton, TN & Charles and Kim, both of Clevland, OH.; and three grandchildren. Lankford Orange City Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
