KNOX COUNTY, TN - OBITUARIES - Mildred Louise Withrow, 10 Oct 2003 --------------¤¤¤¤¤¤-------------- Mildred Withrow Mildred Louise Withrow, 82, 128 Cuyler Willee Rd., Johnson City, died Friday, October 10, 2003 in the Sycamore Shoals Hospital. A native of Knoxville, she was a daughter of the late Jeffrey and Florence Weaver Black. She had lived in Carter County since 1982. Mrs. Withrow was a member of the First Free Will Baptist Church of Johnson City. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Emory Withrow II. Survivors include three daughters and sons-in-law, Patricia Ann and David Strelke, of Stevens Point, Wis.; June and Larry Greer, of Johnson City, and Gale and Ralph Spurgin, of Carefree, Ariz.; one son and daughter-in-law, Thomas Emory Withrow III and his wife, Pat, of Melbourne, Fla.; 10 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Funeral services for Mildred Withrow will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, October 14, 2003 in Memorial Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Justin Deaton and Rev. Kenneth Grindstaff officiating. Interment will follow in Washington County Memory Gardens. Active pallbearers will be Mike Caudle, Robert Bowman, Jason Deaton, Bryan Carter, David Greer and Tommy Withrow. Honorary pallbearers will be Jimmy Branch, Ralph Spurgin and Deacons of First Free Will Baptist Church, Johnson City. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, October 13, 2003 in the funeral home.
