Davis all of my real estate to have and to hold unto him and his heirs administrators exeu[sic]tors forever It is my will that he shall pay to my Grandchildren Hettie and Nora Heirs of Marion Davis decd the sum of Three Hundred ($300.0 Dollars each [sic] It is my will that the Executor be allowed five years to make full settlement with the heirs of Marion Davis, (deceased)[sic] I give and bequeath to my son Jasper N. Davis all of my personal property after all of my just debts and funeral expenses are paid, He having cared for me in my last days And last, I hereby constitute and appoint JasperN. [sic] Davis Executor of this, my last will and testament and that he shall not be required to give bond In witness whereoff [sic] I have hereunto set my hand and seal this the thirteenth day of November 1899 Albert Davis Signed pub lished [sic] and declared by the above named Albert Davis as his last will and testament in presence of us who at his request have signed as witnesses of the same. I am descended through his son, Francis Marion (mentioned above), and through Hettie Belle (mentioned above), Francis's eldest daughter with Harriet Elizabeth Wade, daughter of Zion Wade. Albert died 14 Feb. 1900 in Knox County and is buried at Mt. Harmony Baptist on Raccoon Valley Road in north Knoxville beside his wife, Deborah Ann Cates, whom he married in Grainger County, Tennessee 28 Sept. 1848. submitted by: --Jesse K.
