Doughty, December Term, 1896, Knoxville. I, James A. Doughty, of Knoxville Tennessee, being of sound mind and disposing memory, do make and publish this my last will and testament, revoking all others by me heretofore made. I. I will and direct that my funeral expenses and my just debts be paid as soon after my death as possible. II. I will and bequeath to my wife, Adelia A. Doughty, all of my house and kitchen furniture. I have three portraits of myself I will and bequeath, one to my daughters, Mary Jane, Parolee, my wife to have her choice. III. What moneys, notes or accounts that may be collected by my executor due me from any source, except from the sale of my real estate, I will and direct that it be equally among my wife and my daughters, Mary Jane Doughty and Paralee Gallaher. IV. I will and direct that my executor sell my real estate as soon after my death as is practicable, taking what time he may deem is to the best interest of all concerned and to make a deed to the purchaser for the same. The terms of sale I leave to the sound judgment and discretion of my executor. The proceeds of said sale of real estate, I will and direct that my executor divide the same as follows: To my wife Adelia A. Doughty, a one-half (1/2) interest; To my daughter Mary Jane Doughty a three-eights (3/8) interest; to my daughter Paralee Gallaher, a one-eighth (1/8) interest. V. I name as Executor of my last will and testament, J.C. Ford of Knoxville, Tennessee, November 16, 1896. James A.
