The children of 3g-grandparents Stephen Renfro, III (b. 1790) & Eleanor Christer/Renfro and the children of their son James Renfro (b. 1821) & wife Sarah Brown/Renfro both shared the initials of the children in the following will for Sarah Renfro; also both these families had a son named Robert. We are doing further research in an attempt to confirm whether the will is for Eleanor Christer/Renfro as thought earlier or for her daughter-in-law, Sarah Brown/Renfro. Since we haven't found the document(s) which conclusively prove Eleanor's 1st name was Sarah, the will title should simply say Sarah Renfro for now. It's looking more likely that the will is for Sarah Brown/Renfro. Any input from other Renfro descendants regarding this are welcomed. ------------------------------------ July Term 1892 Sarah Renfro State of Tennessee, Knox County.
