It is my desire that all my just debts be paid, likewise my Funeral expenses. 2. I give to my wife, Maria A. Smith,[maiden name: MARIA(H) ADAIR CHRISTIAN] the home lot of land on which I now live and also my personal property during her natural life, after her death the personal property to be sold and after paying funeral expenses, it is my will that the remainder of my personal property be put on interest to be given to the support of the Gospel in foreign missions of Baptist. The interest only to be used yearly. 3. I bequeath to my son, James H. Smith, the mansion house lot No. 1, as designated in a survey made of my landed estate, containing ninety-two acres, more or less. 4. I bequeath to my daughter, Martha L. Smith and her children, lot no. 2, in the the land of said survey bounded on the north east by lot no. 1, on the northeast by lot No. 3, by the old McKinney tract, containing eithy-nine acres, more or less. 5. I bequeath to my daughter, Sarah M. Sanders and her children lot No. 3, bounded on the southeast by lot No. 2, on the northwest by lot No. 4, and on the southwest by the old McKinney tract, containing eighty-nine acres more or less. 6. I bequeath to my daughter Harriet Smith, lot no. 4, bounded on the south east by lot no. 3, on the northwest by Israel O. Smith land, on the northeast by lot No. 5, containing seventy-nine acres, more or less. 7. I bequeath to my daughter, Emily A. Conner and her children, lot no. 5, bounded on the northwest by the lands of John Gault, on the east by the public road, and lot no. 6, on the southeast by lot no. 4 the lot that William Conner now lives on, containing eighty eight acres more or less. 8. I bequeath to Sarah L. Tillery and Samuel L. Tillery, children of my daughter Mary E. Tillery (deceased) lot no. 6, bounded on the northwest by the lands of John Gault, on the northeast by the lands of Scott, on the southeast by a detached part of Lot no. 1, by the public road, containing eighty-six and a half acres more or less.
