This file was contributed for use in the USGenWeb by transcribed by Sarah Hutcherson <> ===================================================================== STATE OF TENNESSEE; LAUDERDALE COUNTY DEED BOOK 23 PAGE 522 MARY JANE MURLEY et al TO WILLIAM HENRY KLUTTS] Know all men by these presents that we,VERSIE BAIN, DORSEY WHITE, MARY JANE MURLEY, R.F.MURLEY, and IRENE HUTCHERSON for and in consideration of the sum of One Dollar cash in hand paid to us by WILLIAM HENRY KLUTTS have this day bargained and sold and do by these presents transfer and convey unto WILLIAM HENRY KLUTTS a small tract or parcel of land in the 2nd civil district of Lauderdale County,Tennessee,containing by estimation about 4 acres,and which lies on the east line of the 83 acre home tract owned by M.C.MURLEY,deceased,and devised by him in his last will and testament to WILLIAM HENRY KLUTTS and IRENE HUTCHERSON,and said four acre tract adjoined the eleven acre tract on the west side thereof which was also bequeathed to them in said will and the same contains a small house and barn where the said WILLIAM HENRY KLUTTS now lives and he agrees to pay the 1936 taxes on the land. To have and to hold above described lot or tract of land to the said WILLIAM HENRY KLUTTS,to him,his heirs and assigns forever in fee simple; with whom we covenant that we are well seized of the same,that we have a good and lawful right to sell same and convey the same; and that we will warrant and defend the title thereto against the lawful claims of all persons whomsoever.
