KING, Mary KING, Josephine KING, Fester KING, Martha Ann KING, minor children of Erasmus L. KING,under 15 years of age, would respectfully report that they have inquired into the situtation and condition of said children after their father's death and that find that shortly after his death and before any administration was granted upon his estate or allowance made to his widow for her support, the widow and mother of said children also died, leaving them wholly without a member of the family capable of keeping house and taking care of the children so that the administrators afterwards proceeded and did sell and convert into money assets the entire estate and no part of it has been applied to the support of said children. But that they were taken and supported by one of the Administrators and a kinsman who still has them in his charge. We therefore consider that seventy-five dollars each would be the least amount reasonably necessary for a years support.Submitted April 8th,1868.
