The first fatality on a Memphis Expressway project occurred Tuesday,when an 18-year-old stickpicker,whose parents are Lauderdale Countians,was run over by a tractor on Highway 51 South at Carleton Road. Billy Noble GRIGGS was dead when the ambulance arrived with his body at Methodist Hospital.The driver of the tractor,James R.MASON,43,said he saw the youth climb on the tractor when he stopped for water.
