WILLIAM TUCKER, JR. , claimed as his bride, MISS LELIA SCOTT, and to honor the occasion of their twentieth anniversary, a large company of guests, the greater majority of whom were those who witnessed the wedding ceremony-assembled in their lovely home to rejoice in the good fortune which has spared them these many years, a blessing to themselves, an honor to society, an inspiration to the young manhood and womanhood of our fair little town, and a king and queen indeed in their home and in the hearts of their friends-It was a few minutes after eight o'clock when the strains of Mendelssohn's Wedding March, played by MRS. JAMES A. PORTER arrested the attention of the gay and happy throng, and at once every eye was fastened upon the bridal couple of the long ago as they descended the stairway, preceded by C. C.
