Lawrence County Democrat November 6, 1961
New "stop-signs" have been replaced at the intersection of Deller street, 

Depot street and North Military, following destruction of all four of the 

markers a number of nights ago by vandals who ignited the rubber markers after 

saturating them with gasoline.

(I miss those old markers.)
