Witness our hands and seals this 2 day of March 1821. The condition of the above obligation is such, that whereas John Brashears hath prayed and obtained a licence to Mary Ama Hogg now if the said Anna Hogg be an actual resident in the aforesaid County, and there shall not hereafter appear any lawful cause why the said John Brashears & Anna Hogg should not be joined together in holy matrimony as husband and wife, then this obligation to be void, otherwise to remain in full force and virtue, John Breshears (Seal) William Hughs (Seal)
