The Condition of the above obligation is such that whereas John McCan has prayed and obtained a licence to marry Polly Brashears now if the said Polly be in actual resident in the aforesaid county and then shall not appear any unlawful cause why the said John Mccan & Polly Brashears should not be joined together in holy matrimony as husband and wife then this obligation to be void and of no effect this wise to remain in full force and virtue.
