He was on the pension roll in North Carolina. In 1828 he was living in Lincoln County, Tennessee. He stated that he left North Carolina in 1818. He served in the Virginia troops as a sergeant in Captain John Webb's company, Colonel Alexander McClanehan's Virginia regiment. There are no further data given in his pension record.
