Mr. Anderson was blinded by the gas, and had been in an unconscious condition since the fumes affected him. Double pneumonia developed Friday night to hasten his death. Funeral services were conducted by the Reverend Coffman of Lawrenceburg and Eld. B. F. Hart from the Cane Creek Church of Christ at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday. Mr. Anderson, son of the late ------- and Margaret Wiseman Anderson, was reared near Lynchburg. He was a member of the Church of Christ. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. ------- Clay Anderson; two daughters, Miss Audie Lee Anderson, Petersburg, and Mrs. Clement Barnes, of Louisville; two sons, Gaston C. Anderson, Petersburg, and Gwin Anderson, Louisville; seven grandchildren; two brothers, Dallas Anderson, Birmingham, and ------- Anderson, Lynchburg; and eight sisters, Mrs. Janie West, Decherd, Mrs. ------- Powell, Lynchburg, Mrs. Sally -------, Lynchburg, Mrs. A. R. Snell, Shelbyville, Miss Essie Anderson, Chattanooga, Mrs. Effie Thorne, Nashville, Mrs. ------- Garner, Akron, Ohio, and Mrs. Mazie Richards, Tullahoma. Burial in Talley Cemetery.
