Lincoln County News - November 8, 1945
Butler

A message has been received by the wife, Mrs. Laura Dodson, of the death in

Tokyo, Japan on October 25, of Howard Ernest Butler. The circumstances of

his death were not obtained. He had been serving with the armed forces for

quite a while, but spent a furlough with his family here this summer.

Besides his wife and mother, he is survived by three small children,

Barbara Ann, Larry Howard and Marilyn Butler, and a brother, Wyatt Butler,

of Petersburg; a sister-in-law, Mrs. Dwight Butler, of Ostella.
