Foster, aged 77, Confederate veteran, died at the Soldiers Home Sunday afternoon, at 4:00 o'clock and was buried at the home cemetery this afternoon at 2:00 o'clock. The Rev. O. B. Johnson conducted the services. He is survived by his daughter, Mrs. Tennie Brown, of Petersburg, Tenn. Mr. Foster had been an inmate of the soldiers home for twenty years. He enlisted as a Confederate soldier at the age of 15 years - Nashville Banner.
