Gammill, aged 75 years, died at his home in Carrollton, Miss., Thursday afternoon, October 14, after a lengthy illness. Mr. Gammill, son of the late J. P. and Docia Burrow Gammill, was born and reared in and near Petersburg, but moved to Mississippi when a young man, and was for many years pastor of the Church of Christ at Carrollton, Mississippi. He is survived by one son, Willie B. Gammill; two daughters, Mrs. Zuline Campbell and Miss Betty Lois Gammill, all of Carrollton; seven grandchildren; two sisters, Mesdames G. E. Redd and James T. Bledsoe, both of this place; three brothers, Dr. J. L. Gammill, of Haislett, Texas; Ben Gammill, of Justin, Texas, and G. Sanford Gammill, of Jacksonville, Florida. Services and burial were in Carrollton Friday.
