Lincoln County News - September 26, 1935
Hale

Edward Hale, aged 5 years, who suffered a crushed skull when he with

several others in a car driven by Raymond Darnell, were thrown from the

machine into Cane Creek, Sunday afternoon as it skidded in loose gravel,

died Tuesday at Lincoln County Hospital. The accident occurred near

Petersburg, where the child's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Winfield Hale reside.

Funeral services were conducted on Wednesday at Hazel Green, Ala., with

burial there. Besides his parents, the child is survived by two brothers,

Charles and K. M. Hale.
