Lincoln County News - December 10, 1942
Hampton

Funeral services for Austin A. Hampton, aged 57 years, were held Monday at

the Cane Creek Church of Christ by Eld. J. W. Sanders and Eld. W. W.

Leonard.

He was born and reared near here, being the son of the late Henry and Susie

Hampton.

Surviving is his wife, Mrs. Elba Hampton; three daughters, Mrs. Nesby

Haden, Mrs. Sue Bolton and Miss Katherine Hampton, of Birmingham; three

sisters, Mrs. Sallie Daniel, Mrs. Herschel Hastings and Mrs. Clarence

Hastings, of Petersburg.

Burial at the Talley Cemetery.
