Haynes died of heart trouble at his home near Petersburg at 6:00 o'clock Friday, June 12, 1925. He was nearly 90 years of age. Funeral service will be conducted at the home Sunday afternoon by Rev. R. S. Brown, burial at the Old Orchard Cemetery conducted by the Odd Fellows. He leaves two sons, James Jr., of Petersburg, and Joe, of Lewisburg, and one daughter, Mrs. Emmett Rockmore, of Atlanta.
