Mrs. Hunter was a member of the Methodist Church, and a native of Lincoln County. She had spent the greater part of her life at Howell. Her husband, Sam Hunter, died many years ago. Funeral services were conducted Tuesday afternoon by the Rev. W. E. Cowser and the Rev. R. S. Brown, both of Petersburg, and Mayor Jim McCord, of Lewisburg. Burial was in the Delina Cemetery. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Jack Cummings, of Petersburg, and Mrs. J. L. Adams, of Tuscola, Texas; seven grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
