Lincoln County News - March 15, 1934
Luna

J. Ernest Luna, 60, president of the Citizens Bank and prominent business

man of Petersburg was found shot in the rear of the hardware store, where

he worked, Tuesday morning.

The body was discovered by S. H. Allen, proprietor of the hardware store,

when he went to the store at 7:00 o'clock.

Mr. Luna had been employed in the store for many years. He had served as

president of the bank for the past several years.

He was a member of the Christian Church.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Sophronia Luna, and one son, Raymond Luna,

of Atlanta, connected with the Georgia State Highway Department.
