Marsh

Funeral services for Mrs. Lizzie Butler Marsh, aged 82 years, widow of the

late W. H. Marsh, who died at the home of her son, Dr. Fred Marsh, of

Chattanooga, after a few days illness of pneumonia, were held at the

Baptist Church, Monday, February 3, at 2:00 p.m., by Rev. J. B. Alexander

and Rev. Willard Blue.

She was the daughter of Louis C. and Caldonia Green Butler. She was born in

Ripley, Mississippi, but moved here when a young girl.

She is survived by two sons, H. B. Marsh, of Petersburg, and Dr. Fred

Marsh, of Chattanooga; one daughter, Mrs. W. A. Beasley, of Nashville; two

grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Marion Greer, of Petersburg, and Mrs.

Margaret Green, of Nashville, and one great-grandchild.

Burial at Old Orchard Cemetery.
