McAdams

Mrs. Emma Leonard McAdams, 71, died at a hospital in Columbia, Monday night

following a month's illness. She was a member of the Church of Christ, and

the daughter of Sam Leonard and Clemmie Cowden Leonard.

Funeral services were conducted at the Petersburg Church of Christ,

Tuesday, by Eld. O. E. Coffman of Lawrenceburg and Eld. B. F. Hart.

She is survived by her husband, Thomas McAdams; nine stepchildren; two

sisters, Mrs. Thomas Wilson, of Lewisburg, and Miss Cella Leonard,

Washington, D. C.; two brothers, Lawrence Leonard, of Baltimore, and Robert

Leonard of Nashville; and several nieces and nephews.

Burial was in Old Orchard Cemetery.
