He was born and reared near Petersburg, but moved to Nashville twenty-eight years ago, later moving to California, where he was connected with the Southern Pacific Railroad. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Bessie Reese McAdams; one daughter, Miss Bessie Christine McAdams; and two sons, Carl Reese McAdams, of Nashville, and George Lee McAdams, of the U. S. Navy; four sisters, Mrs. E. H. King and Mrs. Sam Darnell, of Petersburg, and Miss Mayme McAdams and Miss Bessie McAdams, both of Nashville; two grandchildren, Judy Marie and Carl Reese McAdams, Jr. Burial at Old Orchard Cemetery.
