Turpin officiating. Mrs. Mitchell was the daughter of the late William and Emily Rowe Watson, and was born and reared in Giles County, but moved to Petersburg about three years ago. Surviving are three sons, Floyd and John Allen Mitchell, of Petersburg; Pvt. T. H. Mitchell, of Fort Casey, Washington, three daughters, Mrs. Clay Beddingfield, of Bunker Hill, Tenn.; Mary Lou and Pauline Mitchell, of Petersburg; several sisters and brothers in Giles County. Burial was in Bee Springs Cemetery.
