Murdock

Funeral services for A. J. Murdock, aged 67 years, who died at a Lewisburg

hospital Wednesday, were held Thursday, at 3:00 p.m., at the home by Eld.

Allen Shaddy and Eld. J. W. Sanders.

He was a large landowner and trader. He was born and reared in Marshall

County, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Murdock. He is survived by

his wife, three daughters, Mrs. Alfred Adams, Misses Elizabeth Frances

Murdock and Jean Murdock, and son John Murdock, of Petersburg; two

daughters, and one son by a former marriage, Mrs. Cowan Phillips, of

Petersburg; Mrs. Era Johnson, of Fayetteville, and one son, Robert Murdock.

Burial at the Talley Cemetery.
