Vanderbilt Pylant, of Akron. Funeral services were held in Akron Friday. She was the only daughter of Noah and Rit King Scott. She was born and reared in the Petersburg community. She moved to Akron about 18 years ago. She was a member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Surviving are two daughters, Misses Melba and Elizabeth Pylant, both of Akron; several nieces and nephews of Petersburg. Burial was in Akron.
