Rives

Mrs. Jane Rives, age 95 years, Petersburg's oldest citizen, died at her

home in Petersburg Friday after an illness of several weeks.

Funeral services were held at the Cumberland Presbyterian Church Saturday,

conducted by the Rev. W. S. Marshall, of Nashville; the Rev. H. J.

Burroughs and the Rev. E. Rueb.

She was the wife of the late Bob Rives and was a life-long citizen of

Petersburg. She was a member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

Surviving are one son, Luther Rives, of Petersburg; three daughters, Mrs.

Anna Ellis and Miss Sallie Rives, of Petersburg, and Mrs. Jepp Smith, of

Elora; one granddaughter, Mrs. Raymond Burroughs, of Fayetteville.
