Sanders

Funeral services for Mrs. Maggie Holt Sanders, 85, wife of the late Alex

Sanders, who died suddenly at her home here Saturday, were conducted Sunday

afternoon at the Petersburg Baptist Church by Rev. J. B. Alexander and Rev.

R. S. Brown.

Mrs. Sanders died from a stroke of apoplexy as she sat in front of the fire

with her two daughters, Mrs. George Hunter, and Miss Margaret Sanders. She

is also survived by two sons, Jordan Sanders, Shelbyville, and Charles

Sanders, Atlanta.

Burial was in Old Orchard Cemetery.
